Job Title: Quality Document Analyst

Reports to: Business Unit Leader

FLSA Status: Non-exempt

Schedule: 5 x 8 hour shifts

Summary of duties and responsibilities:

A Quality Technician will perform any or all the following tasks in a safe and timely manner:

Primary duties and responsibilities:

  • Perform inspections on finished parts to measure and document Quality Process.
  • Prepare Production Part Approval Process and forward it to customer for review.
  • Understands how to read a bubbled print.
  • Enter print Data on Control Plans and Quality Documents
  • Prepare Defective Material Reports for internal and external customers.
  • Use computers and associated software to measure, document, and present information.
  • Manipulate small objects, such as measuring devices on a routine basis.
  • Move at a moderate to fast pace across specified terrain for extended periods of time.

Education, prior work experience and specialized skills and knowledge:

  • Must have print reading experience.
  • Ability to understand and follow instructions in English.
  • Communication skills.
  • Manual dexterity.
  • Use a computer, keyboard, and mouse on a routine daily basis.
  • Must be able to enter data and/or required information into computer system.
  • Excellent attendance, attitude, and communication skills are critical.

Associate will complete the following training:

  • Standard new associate training
  • Statistical Process Control
  • Basic blueprint reading
  • Production Part Approval Process
  • Advanced Product Quality Planning
  • Quality Technician OJT

Physical environment/working conditions:

The position is in the factory and could involve sitting, standing, walking, and lifting for long periods of time throughout the day.
