Machinist
Peoplelink Staffing Solutions is in partnership with a prominent client in Columbia City within the manufacturing industry.
Job Summary:
- $16.00-$26.00
- 2nd shift: 4:30pm-3:00am (Mon-Thurs)
- 4 10-hour days
- 3rd shift: 11:00pm-7:30pm (Sun-Thurs)
- Assist with running basic machines in the Mill/Swiss area
- Assist with assembling components
- Assist with Glass Bead Blasting and other Finishing processes as needed
- Assist with some polishing processes as needed
- Train to assist with bending components
- Help load CNC grinding machines if needed at times (Training required)
- Responsible for accurate and effective operations of CNC grinder machines
- Operate CNC machines with efficient cycle times by loading and unloading material
- Assess machine operations; movement of parts, gauges, dials, machine sounds to determine potential equipment failures
- Interpret drawings and/or item attributes and follow routings
- Maintain product specifications by utilizing the appropriate inspection equipment as required
- Maintain and adjust machine feeds and speeds and perform routine maintenance and lubrication as required
Qualifications and Skills:
- Diploma/GED required
- Ability to read, write, and communicate
- Ability to stand for 8-10 hours
- Anca experience preferred
