Job Description
Job Opening: Head of Operations.
Summary: As the Head of operations your day-to-day activities includes, but are not limited to, overseeing the day-to-day operations of an organization and ensuring that processes run smoothly and efficiently. This may include managing teams, creating and implementing strategies, and ensuring compliance with regulations and industry standards.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE DEMONSTRATED EXPERIENCE IN MANAGING WAREHOUSE OPERATIONS INCLUDING: Customer Sales, Purchase & Warehouse Management in companies handling auto components or similar products. HAVING A BACHELOR'S IN SUPPLY CHAIN IS DESIRED BUT NOT MANDATORY FOR CANDIDATES WITH 10+YEARS OF RELEVANT EXPERIENCE!
Specific Job Duties
- Process and post customer payments in a timely and accurate manner.
- Generate and send out invoices to clients.
- Monitor customer accounts for overdue payments and follow up with customers to resolve outstanding issues.
- Reconcile discrepancies in customer accounts and work closely with the sales and customer service teams to address any issues.
- Maintain accurate records of transactions and customer interactions.
- Assist in the month-end closing process.
Warehouse Management:
- Review and implement practices to ensure safety of the workforce and material.
- Supervise daily warehouse activities, including quality assurance, inventory control, space management, logistics, floor productivity, shipping, and customer service.
- Schedule and oversee warehouse team and manage the flow and quality of work to maximize efficiency and minimize overtime.
- Inspect equipment, tools, and machinery regularly, and oversee general maintenance when necessary.
- Meet regularly with warehouse leads to analyze productivity and develop actionable plans for accuracy of inventory.
- Oversee and manage logistics for transporting products to customers to ensure efficient delivery of material.
General Management:
- Responsible for preparing & circulating daily, weekly & monthly MIS as required by the Unit or Corporate management.
- Responsible for adequate staffing of the different functions, skill development and performance management of the staff to continually improve the unit performance.
Other Requirements
- Must interview successfully with the client.
- Must have a clear background and be able to pass a drug screen.
- Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
