Job Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Perform assigned inspections on parts, product in process, and finished products.
Inspect visually for obvious defects including but not limited to porosity, flaws in applied coatings, nicks, dings, burrs and assembly processes.
Compare results with quality standards.
Report inspection and test results to Quality Manager.
Identify defectives and segregate from acceptable product.
Notify Quality Manager and Program Engineer when inspection data exceeds acceptable limits
Record results on inspection forms or charges and report number of defects found.
Support the quality record retention requirements by assisting with filing and maintenance of Quality Records.
Work alternate shifts and/or overtime as required.
Preferred Requirements:
3 years of experience as an inspector.
