Warehouse General Laborer Fork Lift Driver - URGENTLY HIRING

Warehouse General Laborers URGENTLY HIRING -- $14.00 Per Hour, Full time paid overtime. Fortune 500 benefits after 60 days

NEW WAREHOUSE LOCATION: 6714 E North Belt Road, Las Vegas, NV 89115 ( Not on the GPS yet- The new warehouse building is located to the side of the Motel 6.on Speedway. From the 15 Freeway exit Speedway/Hollywood. Turn left pass the Motel 5, Then left on Hollywood. Turn left into the new warehouses, look for the building with number 6714).

Hiring full time permanent positions. Work hours 7 am to 5pm with possible overtime and weekend work. Available to start work on May 1, 2024.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

General Warehouse Associates:

Receives, stocks/stores and distributes material, tools, equipment, and products in accordance with company policy and procedures. Picking, packing and Labeling. Operates pallet jack to push, pull, or move furnishings/products/merchandise, equipment, or materials. Sort and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code. Will be required to assist with shipping, receiving, loading or unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, matching purchase orders to sales orders and distributing for processing. Examine and inspect containers, materials, and products in order to ensure that packing specifications are met and that damaged merchandise is identified and noted.

Warehouse Clerical:

Responsible for maintaining accurate inventory, shipment and merchandise records. Required to assist with warehouse organization to maintain safety and orderliness at all times.

Reads schedules, orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, shipped, gathered, distributed or staged for further handling. Coordinates with payroll to answer questions regarding employee hour and sick days.

Warehouse Associate/ Some Janitorial duties:

Full time Warehouse associate willing to do general warehouse associate duties and janitorial cleaning from time to time. Must wear and follow all safety protocols established by State, Federal and company guidelines, Additional duties as assigned

Requirements:

Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed

QUALIFICATIONS:

Ability to perform work independently or as a team to successfully complete the duties of the job satisfactorily.

Ability to lift and move heavy objects

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals with attention to detail.

Three (3) months or more related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

The employee is regularly required to use hands to handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit and climb or balance. The employee must regularly lift and/or move heavy weight items in excess of 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
