Job Description
We are seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to become a part of our team! You will operate a truck or tractor to transport materials.
Responsibilities:
Experience operating in a wide variety of motorized heavy equipment and vehicles used in earthwork , including but not limited to:
- Bulldozers
- Excavators
- Motorgraders / RollersPrepares heavy equipment by conducting inspections; performing preventive maintenance checks.
Prepares work by studying and clarifying plans, calculating requirements and gathering supplies.
Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations
EXPERIENCE WITH TRIMBLE GPS OR ANY OTHER GPS MACHINE CONTROL EQUIPMENT IS A BONUS QUALIFICATION!
- Communicate need for maintenance or repair
- Adhere to safety policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a operating heavy equipment
- Strong work ethic
- Ability to handle physical workload
