Job Title: CNC Programmer/Machinist

Pay: $28.00 - $32.00/hr DOE

Schedule: 7:00a – 4:00p Monday through Friday

Express Employment Professionals in Centennial, CO is immediately hiring for a wholesale distributor/manufacturing company in Centennial, CO. We’re looking for a qualified CNC Machinist/Programmer to assist in the programming, troubleshooting of code, setup of manufacturing equipment and production of products. The qualified applicant will be comfortable with creating and troubleshooting CNC code (G Code) as well as the full operation, repair and service of CNC machines. This person will also work closely with engineering to create prototypes, tools and dies while troubleshooting throughout that process. The right candidate will be a motivated self-starter, can follow directions closely and work well independently. Duties include:

• Experienced and proficient with CNC mill machining including but not limited to, 4th axis single spindle and multiple spindle Haas indexers.
• At least 5 years of experience in programming with Mastercam (or equivalent) and set-up of CNC mills.
• Perform complex machining operations on a CNC Milling/Turning machine and have the ability to read and understand G-Code
• Fabrication of all types of tooling including fixturing, jigs, special tools, templates, proto-type products & Simple molds
• Operate CNC machine - load materials, perform tool changes - Manufacture parts to print from CAD Models
• Perform preventative maintenance on Haas CNC machines
• Troubleshoot operational issues on machines and perform maintenance/repairs as needed
• Knowledge of and proficiency with manual machining (mill, lathe, and surface grind).
• Count and record raw materials and finished product
• Quality control inspection
• Keeping the shop clean and organized

What we look for:

• Strong working knowledge and understanding of manufacturing process
• Able to operate and utilize safe PMVH use (powered material handling vehicles).
• Experience with CNC Machine operation - code programming/troubleshooting (G Code), set up, preventative maintenance/repairs
• Strong organizational and process skills and ability to work with engineering to troubleshoot tools and dies
• Independent and detail-oriented candidates
• High school diploma or GED
