Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a reliable and responsible Pick Up and Delivery Driver to join our team. The primary responsibilities include scanning orders to your delivery van, delivering completed orders to 11 outlier stores in Reno, Sparks, and Truckee daily. While at each location, you will collect all unprocessed orders and bring them back to main facility for cleaning.
The ideal candidate will ensure timely pick-up and drop-offs at all locations, meeting specified time requirements. This position is for someone with a proven history of not missing work, as reliability and punctuality are paramount. Additionally, while driving, you represent Bobby Page Dry Cleaners, and your driving skills must match our vision of providing excellent service with a smile! When you see our vans on the road, the community should think of quality service they can trust. You must demonstrate courtesy and respect for others on the road. Moreover, you must be extremely organized and detail-oriented. All orders must be delivered to the correct store location without error.
Responsibilities:
- Scan orders to the delivery van for transportation.
- Deliver completed orders to 11 outlier stores in Reno, Sparks, and Truckee on a daily basis.
- Pick up unprocessed orders from outlier stores and bring them back to the main production facility for cleaning.
- Adhere to assigned routes and schedules to meet time requirements for pick-ups and drop-offs at all locations.
- Provide exceptional customer service by maintaining professionalism and courtesy during interactions with customers and store staff.
- Represent Bobby Page Dry Cleaners while driving, ensuring you meet all driving regulations, laws, and policies.
- Handle dry cleaning items with care to prevent damage or loss during transportation.
Daily Route:
The daily route will include stores in Reno, Sparks, and Truckee, California.
Hours:
- Monday-Friday: 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
- Sundays: Three-hour shift (specific hours TBD)
Requirements:
- Must be able to drive with winter weather conditions to Truckee, California in a delivery van.
- Must be at least 23 years of age for insurance purposes.
- Possess a valid Class C driver's license.
- Clean driving record with no violations.
- Excellent balance while lifting and carrying heavy loads.
- Ability to use a step stool to get in and out of the delivery van while carrying heavy loads.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy loads. You will be carrying up to 30 pounds.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic, with a history of not missing work.
- Extremely organized and detail-oriented.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Comfortable operating a computer to utilize our software system, SMRT.
