Customer Service Representative

We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our team! You will be responsible for helping customers by providing product and service information and resolving technical issues.

Responsibilities:

• Handle customer inquiries and complaints via phone and in person regarding billing, payments, conservation, and water quality.
• Perform a variety of routine clerical tasks including filing, billing, collections, processing payments, scheduling appointments, and compiling reports.
• Operate standard office equipment, including copier, fax machine, computer, scanner, and postage meter
• Document and update customer records based on interactions
• Develop and maintain a knowledge base of the evolving products and services
• Enter data into the records management system; print reports from the system, if necessary
• Reconciles daily payments and makes deposits to the corporate checking account
• Perform other similar duties as assigned

• Previous experience in customer service, sales, or other related fields
• Ability to build rapport with clients
• Ability to prioritize and multitask
• Positive and professional demeanor
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Valid New Mexico Driver License
• High School Diploma or GED
