Job Description
Opal Foods is accepting applications for the position of Nighttime Sanitation Worker for our Egg Processing Plant in Roggen, Colorado. This position is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing egg processing equipment while maintaining compliance with all company policies and governmental regulations. This position will also assist the Sanitation Lead with other projects and duties as needed. This position will work overnight between the hours of 9pm and 7am. Pay rate is commensurate with experience.
Position Responsibilities:
- Prepare work area for cleaning in order to protect equipment and materials from damage.
- Use water, tools, and specific solutions to clean egg processing equipment.
- Must follow specific instructions on cleaning techniques and processes in order to ensure equipment sanitation and to prevent equipment damage.
- Must work with a sense of urgency in order to have equipment cleaned in time for USDA pre-operational morning inspection.
- Must work in a safe manner to prevent injuries to themselves and co-workers.
- Must work as a team and be willing to help other team members as needed throughout the shift.
- Other duties as assigned

- Must demonstrate attention to details
- Must be able to work safely at a fast-pace in a wet environment
- Position is physically demanding and workers must be able to access and clean hard to reach areas.
- Must be available to be scheduled for work 7 days a week including holidays
- Must be able to work overnight shift and must report to work on time and as scheduled.
