First-Class Pipefitter / Journeyman Pipefitter
Location: Pascagoula, MS
Duration: 12-month contract
Pay Range: $38.00 per hour, based on level of experience

Job Description:
Responsible for fitting pipe consisting of various materials such as steel, galvanized, copper, copper-nickel and stainless along with the appropriate valves and fittings, utilizing various tools and equipment in accordance with drawing, arrangements and blue prints.
Production areas at times involve working at different heights, confined spaces, different weather conditions as well as multiple shifts 24 hours a day.
As with most every positions, a Pipefitter may be required to work either day or night dependent upon the number of ships under construction at any one point in time.

Basic Qualifications:
US Citizen required
Minimum 4Ç Yrs. trade experience
Basic math, reading and comprehension skills
Knowledge of the layout, fit-up, fabrication and installation of pipe, flanges and valves
Read and interpret trade drawings and/or blueprints utilizing both metric and standard measurements
