Located in Garland, Texas, PushCorp is robotic tooling manufacturer, specializing in automated material removal equipment. Since 1993, PushCorp has provided robotic, surface-finishing end effectors to the automotive and aerospace industries. PushCorp is pleased to invite applicants for the position of Accounting Supervisor. This team member will be at the heart of the action and will have the opportunity to be involved in and influence many facets of the business.
Job Summary:
Reporting to Walter’s Director of Strategic Finance, the Accounting Supervisor is responsible for directing the financial activities of the organization and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations within the office.
Core Responsibilities:
Daily Operations Management:
- Oversee and manage the daily operations accounting.
- Handle tasks related to accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Process cash receipts and maintain accurate records.
- Receive, record, and authorize requests for disbursements in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Manage payroll.
Financial Reporting:
- Preparation of entries and reconciliations of accounts on a monthly basis.
- Analyze accounting data and produce financial reports.
- Monitor fixed asset activity.
- Work in close collaboration with the Walter tax team to provide all the necessary information for the preparation of tax returns.
- Participate in the budget process.
Administrative Duties
- Maintain relationships with banking, insurance, and other external providers.
- Provide support to human resources.
- Compliance and preparation regulatory fillings.
- Other duties as assigned.
Sales & Inventory Management
- Produce sales reports.
- Produce inventory reports.
- Monitor product demand.
- Tracking inventory.
Requirements and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
- Strong knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles
- Proficiency in MS Office, accounting software, and databases.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- High level of integrity and ethics.
