Our firm tries cases including but not limited to motor vehicle accidents, wrongful death, premises liability, construction accidents, trucking accidents, workers compensation and product liability. We are seeking a Plaintiff Personal Injury Associate Attorney who can handle their own cases independently from intake through completion. Trial, arbitration and mediation experience are required.

Our law firm is seeking an experienced Associate Attorney specializing in Plaintiff Personal Injury to join our dynamic and dedicated team. This is an onsite position, where you will play a crucial role in representing clients who have suffered personal injuries. As our ideal candidate, you are driven, detail-oriented, and possess a strong passion for advocacy. You will be responsible for managing a heavy case load from inception through trial, demonstrating your expertise in mediation, arbitration, deposition, and trial experience.

Responsibilities:

1. Represent clients who have suffered personal injuries in all stages of litigation, from inception through trial.
2. Conduct all phases of discovery, including drafting and responding to discovery requests, taking and defending depositions, and identifying, preparing, and managing exhibits for trial.
3. Represent clients in mediations and arbitrations, demonstrating your negotiation skills and ability to achieve favorable results.
4. Prepare and draft legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, orders, judgments, and status reports.
5. Develop case strategies based on the facts of the case and the client's goals, and execute those strategies effectively.
6. Maintain regular communication with clients, keeping them informed about the status of their case and advising them on legal issues and case strategy.
7. Stay updated on developments in personal injury law and incorporate relevant changes into your practice.
8. Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the firm's commitment to client service and excellence in practice is upheld.

Qualifications:

1. Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
2. Admitted to practice law in the state of Delaware, and in good standing with the state bar.
3. A minimum of 2 years of experience in plaintiff personal injury law, with a proven track record of successful representation.
4. Experience in all stages of litigation, from case inception through trial.
5. Demonstrated expertise in mediation, arbitration, and deposition.
6. Excellent negotiation skills, with the ability to achieve favorable results for clients.
7. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly and persuasively articulate complex legal issues.
8. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage a heavy case load and meet deadlines.
9. A commitment to client service, with the ability to maintain strong relationships with clients and to communicate effectively with clients about their cases.
10. A passion for advocacy and a drive to achieve the best possible results for clients.
11. A high level of professionalism, with the ability to represent the firm effectively in interactions with clients, opposing counsel, and the court.
