Come grow with us!?General Purpose and Scope of Position:Wilbur-Ellis is seeking a motivated individual who will assist in all aspects of general maintenance, warehouse, and deliveries to customers. This will include but is not limited to, annual and routine maintenance on fertilizer equipment, stocking and retrieving package and bulk containers, driving a forklift, delivering small deliveries to customers? locations, and general housekeeping. The ideal candidate must enjoy working with a diverse customer base in a fast-paced setting.?Key Skills and Abilities Include:Ability to work and contribute to a team approach with a positive attitude and outlookPresent a professional image to the Wilbur-Ellis customer through personal appearance and overall branch cleanlinessWillingness to operate material handling equipment including forklift, order picker, pallet jack, and other equipment as requiredAbility to repetitively bend and lift boxes and bags up to 80 poundsWillingness and desire to work overtime hours during busy seasons?Key Personal Attributes Include:Enjoy and embrace a diverse/variety of job duties and responsibilitiesThe ideal candidate will be versatile, flexible, and willingCan effectively multi-taskKnowledge and/or experience with agricultural operations (preferred but not required)Requires excellent interpersonal skills between both customers and fellow employeesForklift Driver and Driving Certification (offered on the job)A valid driver?s license with a Class A CDL is a plusHigh School Diploma or EquivalentWillingness to learnThe motivation of a self-starterDetail-oriented?Specific Responsibilities and Key Deliverables Include:Receive and ship inventory itemsMaintain accurate inventory records, ensuring no product leaves, or enters the warehouse without the necessary paperworkMeet and complete all WECO regulatory safety requirementsAttend product training sessions and meetings when necessaryResponsible for warehouse cleanlinessAbility to utilize weights and measures to accurately fill containersKeep paperwork (load slips) in order and turned in on timePull Customer orders correctly for deliveryNotify the Operations Manager immediately if the product spillsAll safety equipment will be worn at all times for your own safetyResponsible for reporting all mistakes immediatelyRespond to inquiries in a timely, accurate, and appropriate mannerAll other duties as assigned?Quincy Specific DutiesGeneral Maintenance and Repair of Equipment at the location and in the fieldDelivery of orders to customer locations in small/medium-sized truck?Compensation and Benefits:In compliance with all states and cities that require transparency of pay, the base compensation for this position ranges from $18.00 - $22.00 per hour.? Note that wages may vary based on location, skills, and experience.
