Overview:

We are looking for a Registered Nurse – On Call to join our team.

 

We are open to two different schedules for this position. They are:

 

*The first option is to work every weekend Friday 5pm - Monday 8am.  This allows you to have your weekdays off!

*The second option is M- Th 5pm-8am and every other weekend Friday 5pm - Monday at 8am.  7 nights on 7 nights off.  Work 2 weeks out of the month and have 2 weeks off! 

 

Reports directly to the Administrator, Executive Director or Patient Care Manager Senior and will maintain primary control and professional management of each patient. You will act as primary liaison between physician, patient/family and hospice team.

 

  • Provide direct patient care services to hospice patients and supportive care to the patient’s family after normal business hours on an on-call basis
  • Manage an interdisciplinary group consisting of Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants and support staff to enhance the quality of hospice care
  • Evaluate patient/family needs and assist in the preparation and execution of the plan of care for each patient
  • Maintain all assigned patient clinical records
  • Participate in company quality assessment and performance improvement programs 

 

 

About You:
  • Compassionate, kind and empathetic to your patients and their families
  • A current RN license (in the state of requested employment or ability to obtain)
  • 1+ years of nursing experience in hospice, home health, or oncology preferred
