About this job
About who needs care: Recovering from two strokes with blindness being the primary impact. Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, and OR Association for the blind will provide in-home services that need to be coordinated. Mobility assistance while walking with a white cane is required.
About the care needs: Someone with a good sense of humor, previous experience with stroke recovery and blind adults would be helpful, and an overall comforting presence.
Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
