Our guide the way we do business.Your greatest work is ahead!The Health Solutions division at Leidos is looking for an entry-level SharePoint Developer with less than 2 years of experience to support the Office of Child Support Services (OCSS) program based out of Baltimore, MD. The Jr Sharepoint Developer will be responsible for the design, development, testing, configuration, and support of SharePoint based application architectures in an Agile development environment.Location: Primarily remote with the ability to attend key meetings in the Baltimore, MD office.* Local candidates preferred or within a 2-hour radius.  Relocation assistance is not available.Sponsorship is not available.* Candidate must live in the U.S. currently and for the past three (3) consecutive years to be considered.* Must be able to obtain and maintain Public Trust suitability.Why Leidos?Leidos is committed to help employees achieve their personal and professional goals with a strong focus on career, flexibility, and well-being. • Main responsibility will be in development, maintenance, and support of SharePoint web applications. The web-based application architectures could include web applications, web services, and database operations. An analytical thinker with an established approach to design and problem solving is extremely important.
• Candidate should be equally comfortable writing new code and refactoring an existing codebase.
• Candidate should be familiar with Agile Software Development methodologies.
• Candidate will support the migration of the SharePoint environment across versions and into a cloud-based hosting environment.
• Candidate will translate application storyboards and use cases into functional requirements and applications.
• Candidate must be comfortable interacting with the customer on a regular basis.
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications.
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems.
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
• Critique code of others by participating in peer reviews.
• Participate in customer System Team meetings and works on change requests or bugs as assigned by the task lead.

Basic Qualifications / Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with less than 2 years of relevant professional experience. Experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
• Hands-on experience developing applications in SharePoint (2016 and 2019) and comfort levels with Microsoft Office tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Experience with SQL Server.
• Object Oriented Analysis and design skills and methodical troubleshooting skills.
• Candidates must live in the U.S. currently and for the past three (3) consecutive years.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain Public Trust clearance.

Preferred:

• Hands on experience with ServiceNow, JAVA/J2EE Technologies, Spring 4.x framework (including Spring MVC), XML, experience with development of or strong concepts on Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and Microservice Architecture (MSA), HTML, Web Services, Subversion, CSS, JavaScript, InfoPath, SonarQube and Maven.
• Hands on experience with Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD).
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to drive the tasks under multiple constraints.

Pay Range:Pay Range $53,950.00 - $97,525.00
