Join Roche, where every voice matters.The PositionYour Opportunity:We are looking for Enterprise Master Data Management (EMDM) Domain Experts who will have a high profile position responsible for deploying and enforcing policies and procedures that ensure data is used and maintained properly in Roche.There will be experts for the following Data Domains:Materials/ProductsBusiness Partners (Customers & Vendors)Reference DataFinance /Ledger DataWe are looking for Enterprise Master Data Management (EMDM) Domain Experts that will have a high profile position responsible for deploying and enforcing policies and procedures that ensure data is used and maintained properly in Roche.The domain experts are responsible for promoting efficient, accurate, and effective data management throughout the organization and are supporting the domain leads in establishing the governance of the data domains. They run due diligence and support data domains round tables consisting of stakeholders from different value streams, organizations, and projects. Domain experts have the Roche insights which will help to better align the master data approach across the enterprise. Data Domain Experts promote ‘single-source-of-truth’, and are accountable for fit for purpose master data in Roche systems.As a qualified expert, you:Have a solid knowledge of data Foundational Activities like data protection (security and privacy compliance), metadata management, data quality management across Roche organizational units and systems.Act as a liaison between work teams and data support teams, represent enterprise data interestsContinuously monitor and ensure adherence to defined data governance policies & procedures across Roche organizations.Collaborate with the EMDM Domain Councils and support them in driving the continued development of the EMDM Framework and integrated roadmap as well as adopting the agreed framework.Influence business participation and the organizational setup to improve  effectiveness of managing and supplying master datadefine and frame data issues and coordinate the resolution of data issuesAre responsible for training and guiding the stakeholders/business users on the data governance best practices, policies, and proceduresWho you are:Solid understanding of Data Governance elements: policies, strategy, data maturity assessment, data classification, data ownership; Independently manage data governance initiatives5+ years of experience in functional and strategic master data management, particularly in senior-level data governance for master data.Proven experience in Lifecycle activities: Planning & Design, Enabling and Maintain, Using and Enhancing Data.Minimum 6 years of experience with enterprise applications like SAP, Oracle, or Salesforce, across multiple business units.Familiarity with life sciences industry processes, FDA/EMA regulations, and data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA). Strong problem-solving, communication, and networking skills.
