Job Description
We are seeking knowledgeable Machine Operators at our location in Kansas City, MO!
Shifts Available
1st Shift (Monday - Saturday) 7am to 3pm
2nd Shift (Monday - Saturday) 3pm -11pm
3rd Shift (Monday - Saturday) 11pm-7am

Responsibilities
Participate in continuous quality improvement projects and other related activities as assigned
Coordinate production, sometimes monitoring multiple production lines at once
Participate in continuous quality improvement projects and other related activities as assigned.
Perform and/or assists in mold, insert and color changes on the line.
Perform basic processing of injection and/or blow molding machines to improve machine efficiency and reduce scrap.
Adjust operations, machines, and equipment as needed to correct quality and production issues.
Perform tasks and responsibilities of any Utility position during slow periods and/or as needed.
Monitor resin, material handling, and color systems for appropriate processing conditions.
Make frequent on time quality checks on products being produced from established quality standards.
Perform minor adjustments and routine maintenance; assist as needed with preventative maintenance and major repair work
Maintain work area to acceptable safety and housekeeping standards.
Complete and file all required documentation in an orderly and timely manner.
Maintain an open and candid working relationship with immediate supervisor/manager in discussing matters of importance
Verify material usage per standards
Operate equipment to minimize the generation and maximize the consumption of regrind, purge, and scrap within customer specifications where applicable.
Properly identify regrind and chunk produced.
Communicate processing information to designated personnel on incoming shift.
Assist other operators as needed,

Experienced Extrusion Molding Machine Operators
Experienced Blow Mold Operators (including PET or HDPE resin, Bekum, Fisher, Uniloy, Aoki, Sidel, 1Blo, and/or Rocheleau machinery) is a plus, but not required
Machine Operator Trainees (mechanical experience such as HVAC, auto mechanic, car mechanic, lube technician, home repair, handyman, construction trades are all encouraged to apply)
