Driver Helper

Aerotek, voted Best of Staffing, is hiring for Delivery/ Driver Helpers. Starting pay of $20.00 an hour (paid weekly),

Position Title: Driver Helper / Delivery Assistant

Job Description:

• Employees will be responsible for assisting the CDL driver with Delivering product to companies that placed orders
• Will be responsible for loading/ unloading trucks
• Utilizing dolly's to move product
• Employee will interact with customers
• Check to make sure correct product is deliveries and proper quantities
• Will be lifting up to 50lbs throughout the day
• Comfortable sitting in a truck between deliveries

 Shift:

• 1st Shift (7:00am to 5:00pm)
  • Tuesday through Friday
• Must be comfortable working past 5:00pm

Pay: $20.00/hr.

Qualifications:

• 6+ months of experience working in a warehouse or other physical demanding position
• Willing to work overtime
• Willing to interact with customers
• Lift 50-60lbs throughout the day
• Willing to submit to a 7 year standard background check
• Willing to submit to a drug test that does not require THC

Preferred Skills, but not required: Delivery, RF Scanner, Pallet Jack, Warehouse Associate, Warehouse, picking, packaging, loading, unloading, cherry picker, RF Scanner, Order Picker, general labor, tugger, dolly

Work Environment: Will be working one on one with a CDL driver daily. The driver could switch day by day that your working with. Comfortable working in hot and cold environments depending on the weather (when your unloading product). Trucks will have a/c.
