Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Needed in Crescent City, CA

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) in Crescent City, CAto join our team. The RBT will work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement behavior intervention plans and provide direct one-on-one therapy to clients.
Job Description:

  • Crescent City, CA
  • ASAP - EOSY
  • K-12 caseload
  • Full time - 32.5-35 hours per week

Responsibilities:

  • Implement behavior intervention plans as designed by the supervising BCBA.
  • Provide one-on-one therapy sessions based on the principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA).
  • Collect data on client progress and behavior throughout therapy sessions.
  • Collaborate with the BCBA to modify intervention strategies as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of client sessions and progress.
  • Communicate effectively with clients' families and other team members.
  • Adhere to ethical and professional standards outlined by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) and company policies.

Qualifications:

  • Must hold a current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification.
  • Bachelor's degree in psychology, education, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience working with individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to client homes or other community settings as needed.
