Pharmacist- Full Time (Director of Pharmacy) Whitefield, NH

We are currently seeking a Director of Pharmacy to join our team on a temporary-permanent contract basis, with the potential for direct hire for the right candidate. The Director of Pharmacy will serve as the Pharmacist in Charge for our 25-bed critical access hospital, providing a range of medical, surgical, and intensive care services. Our facility also offers various outpatient services, including rehabilitation, oncology, emergency care, laboratory services, and radiology. This position entails a 50/50 split between clinical and operational responsibilities.
Shifts:

• Mon through Fri: 7:30 am 5:00 pm
• Rotating Weekends: 7:30 am - 2:00 pm
• On-call responsibilities

Hours: 40 hours per week
Job Duties:

• Ensure that clinical pharmacy services meet the pharmaceutical needs of our hospital
• Act as the Pharmacist in Charge, overseeing all pharmacy operations
• Administer and supervise all pharmacy personnel
• Take responsibility for the administrative operation of the pharmacy department
• Maintain a balance between clinical and operational responsibilities

Requirements:

• Active New Hampshire Pharmacy License (or willingness to obtain)
• Clinical pharmacist experience, particularly in an inpatient setting
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Director of Pharmacy
• Experience with Meditech preferred
• Must be willing to live in a rural area
• Some tie to New Hampshire preferred
