Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) - Santa Clara, NM - Guaranteed Hours

Are you an experienced behavior support provider with a passion for making a difference in the lives of students? Soliant Education is seeking dedicated individuals to fill multiple Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) positions near Santa Clara, NM. These part-time roles offer the opportunity to work with students across all grade levels, providing essential support and implementing behavior management strategies in a supportive district environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide behavior support to students across all grade levels, implementing behavior management and reduction techniques as directed by the educational team.
• Assist in the development and implementation of behavior intervention plans to address challenging behaviors and promote positive alternatives.
• Utilize de-escalation techniques to effectively manage crisis situations and ensure the safety of students and staff.
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and administrators to ensure consistency and effectiveness in implementing behavior support plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and behavior interventions in compliance with district policies.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience providing behavior support to school-aged individuals preferred.
• Familiarity with behavior management and reduction techniques, as well as de-escalation strategies.
• RBT certification preferred but not required; candidates with relevant experience will also be considered.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
• Commitment to following ethical guidelines and maintaining confidentiality.

Position Details:

• Hours: 30-40hours per week, guaranteed hours!
• Duration: Remainder of the school year
• Grade Levels: Elementary to High School
• Supportive district environment, treating contractors as regular staff
• Location: Santa Clara, NM
• Pay: Negotiable up to $30
