School Psychologist Needed In Ashland, OR
ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Psychologist to join our team in Ashland, OR. As a contracted School Psychologist, you will play a crucial role in supporting the social, emotional, and academic well-being of students within the school district.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations to assess students' strengths and areas of need
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and parents to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and interventions
- Provide counseling and support services to students experiencing social, emotional, or behavioral challenges
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and develop intervention strategies
- Conduct crisis interventions and provide support during emergencies or critical incidents
- Stay up-to-date on best practices in school psychology and implement evidence-based interventions to support student success
Requirements:
- Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
- Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist in the state
- Previous experience working in educational settings preferred
- Strong assessment, communication, and collaboration skills
- Ability to work effectively with diverse populations of students, families, and educators
- Commitment to promoting the social, emotional, and academic well-being of all students
