Accounting Clerk Bakersfield

Overview:

Responsible for managing accounts payable and receivable processes, reconciling accounts, and maintaining strong vendor relationships.

Responsibilities:

• Process accounts payable invoices accurately and efficiently, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with internal teams to obtain necessary approvals and documentation for invoice processing.
• Manage vendor relationships, including responding to inquiries and resolving payment issues.
• Prepare and maintain accurate accounts payable aging reports.
• Assist with month-end closing processes, including account reconciliations and journal entries.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in accounts payable or similar role
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, NetSuite and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with account reconciliations and month-end close processes preferred.
