Lead Machinist

Summary:
Seeks a seasoned Swiss CNC Machine Programmer with a minimum of 5 years of experience to lead setup, programming, and quality control in a high-precision manufacturing environment.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Program and set up Swiss CNC machines.
• Lead and mentor machining staff in production techniques.
• Read and interpret blueprints and understand geometric tolerances.
• Perform first piece and process inspections.
• Use various measurement tools for exacting tolerances and dimensions.
• Maintain accurate records of production, scrap, and non-conformance.
• Create and follow production setup sheets and documentation.
• Perform quality checks using a microscope, vision system, and hand inspection tools.
• Monitor and maintain multiple Citizen CNC machines and oversee employee performance in production.
• Understand and utilize G&M codes effectively.

Basic Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of verifiable experience in programming and setting up Swiss CNC machines.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering blueprints and geometric tolerances.
• Skilled in the use of measurement tools for precise tolerancing and dimensioning.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with CMM.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks.

Additional Information:

• This position requires in-depth knowledge of advanced CNC machining processes and the ability to optimize production workflows for maximum efficiency.

Pay Details: $25.00 to $28.00 per hour
