Job Title: School Psychologist

Location: Newport, OH

Job Description: Soliant is currently seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to join a school district in Newport, OH. The School Psychologist will play a vital role in supporting the academic and social-emotional needs of students, collaborating with educators, families, and munity stakeholders to promote student success and well-being.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct prehensive psychological assessments to identify students' strengths, weaknesses, and areas of need
• Interpret assessment data and provide remendations for educational programming and interventions
• Collaborate with school teams to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
• Provide counseling and crisis intervention services to students experiencing social, emotional, or behavioral challenges
• Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents to address academic and behavioral concerns and develop effective interventions
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and develop intervention strategies
• Provide training and support to school staff on topics related to mental health, behavior management, and academic interventions

Qualifications:

• Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
• Valid Ohio state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist
• Experience working with children and adolescents in an educational setting
• Strong assessment, counseling, and intervention skills
• Excellent munication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team

Licensure Requirements:

• Valid licensure or certification as a School Psychologist in the state of Ohio
