School-based Social Worker job near Holland, MI

As a School Social Worker, you will play an important role in supporting the academic, emotional and social development of our students. You will be able to collaborate with students, families, teachers and other professionals to address various challenges that students face, inside and outside the classroom. Our goal is to create a positive and inclusive school environment that fosters the well-being and success of all students.

Job Details:
Contract runs through the 23/24 school year
Full time hours, about 40 per week
Within a K-12 caseload, small class sizes
Pay rate is $36 per hour
Responsibilities:
Providing individual and group counseling to students dealing with social, emotional, behavioral and academic challenges
Conduct assessments to identify students' needs and develop appropriate intervention plans
Offer crisis intervention and support for students as needed
Collaborate with teachers, parents and administrators to create strategies for addressing students needs
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Social Work
Michigan state licensure in School Social Work
Experience working in a school or with the pediatric population
