Robert Half is looking to bring an experienced Bookkeeper onto a growing team at an innovative firm. Based in the Brookshire, Texas region, this Bookkeeper role would be a short-term contract / temporary to hire position.
Key responsibilities
- Be responsible for accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions
- Review payments received and record deposits
- Supervise bookkeeping policies and procedures, along with developing a framework to track financial transactions with an established chart of accounts
- Prepare financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information
- Maintain and balance general ledger
- Reconcile accounts by rectifying entries
- Uphold quality historical records by filing documents- Earlier experience working with various types of accounting software desired
- BS Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration preferred
- Foundational knowledge in Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Knowledge of Full Cycle Payroll
- Accounts Payable (AP) experience
- Proficiency in HR Payroll System
- Previous experience as a Bookkeeper preferred
