Position Overview: As a Warehouse Shipping and Receiving Associate, you will play a crucial role in the efficient operation of our client''s engine repair shop. Your primary responsibilities will include handling incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining accurate inventory records, and operating a sit-down forklift to move materials safely within the warehouse.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and record incoming shipments of parts and materials
- Prepare outgoing shipments, ensuring accurate labeling and documentation
- Maintain organized inventory storage areas and conduct regular cycle counts
- Operate a sit-down forklift to safely transport materials and products
- Collaborate with team members to fulfill orders and maintain workflow efficiency
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and orderly warehouse environment
Requirements:
- Previous experience in warehouse operations, shipping, and receiving
- Valid certification to operate a sit-down forklift
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects as needed
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Availability to work Monday to Friday from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm
