We are hiring for an experienced Revenue Cycle/ Health Insurance Supervisor to oversee our day to day operations here in Waco, TX! Job Description:

Working under the direction of the Insurance Director, the Insurance supervisor oversees the day-to-day operations for the billing and collections team. This position is responsible for meeting and exceeding department goals and managing project supervisors, billers and collections staff. This position will maintain client relationships at the servicing level and will monitor compliance with State and Federal laws and guidelines. This role is responsible for providing a productive and motivating working environment. The supervisor should have experience in Hospital & Physician billing and collections, organizing work groups, coaching employees, monitoring progress, enforcing rules, and ensuring quality compliance. The supervisor is required to possess strong communication and leaderships skills as well as the ability to resolve workplace issues effectively. The supervisor will be required to train and support their team members and be highly motivated to help the company fulfill its larger mission.

Job Duties:

- Assist manager with setting performance goals that align with the company’s larger plans

- Meet daily with your manager to discuss individual employee KPI’s and plans of action if below the mark.

- Track progress and provide constructive feedback

- Monitor the Cloud and watch that staff is meeting KPI’s set

- Live monitor calls and provide timely positive feedback as well as opportunities for improvement through email and/or Teams chat

- You are listening for use of approved scripting, professionalism, negotiation skills and following regulated guidelines

- Ensure this feedback is building the employee up for success

- Serve as a link between agents and management

- The supervisor is the go-to person for agents. Be available and approachable to your employees.

- Ensure proper and professional communication to your manager

- Motivate team members and create strategies to boost productivity

- Communicate with the manager if there are suggested schedule adjustments based on staffing or productivity shown on the Cloud

- A supervisor is responsible for running contests and creating a fun and productive work environment

- Send positive shout outs regarding all agents throughout the week, do not just focus on certain employees

- Daily Fun Facts – If you spot a miss from an agent, send a fun fact as a reminder of a process (without naming the agent)

- Conduct as needed training and support of agents

- Daily call monitoring including coaching and development- communicate training opportunities identified up to Director or Manager

- Complete agent assigned coaching through Verint

- Supervisor call feedback to agents-

- Listen and provide de-escalation techniques to agents to assist with handling escalated situation to improve volume of Supervisor calls

- Time tracking including breaks/lunches

- Know your staff’s schedule. Ensure they are taking correct time on breaks/lunches.

- Review and Complete Agents emails as needed

- Be available to staff. Timely responses on emails/questions is key to feeling supported.
