Experience:

• 24 months of Operating Room experience is required.

• 2 months of travel experience is required.

• Experience with Meditech is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Massachusetts license in hand at the time of application.

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Candidates must live at least 50 miles away from this facility in order to be eligible to apply for this role.

Contract Guarantee hours= 72 Hours Biweekly on all Assignments – these guaranteed hours do not include any “on-call” time worked

Day/Evening

Day shift: 7a-730p 1st week - 5 8hr shifts 7a-330p for orientation 2 weekends/month – either call (7a-7p, or 7p-7a on Sat/Sun/holidays) or working shifts. 30 min on call response time. Short call shift once or twice a week 3a-7a

Eve shifts: 11a-11:30p. 1st week - 5 8hr shifts 7a-330p for orientation 2 weekends/month – either call (7a-7p, or 7p-7a on Sat/Sun/holidays) or working shifts. 30 min on call response time. Short call shift once or twice a week 11p-3a.

Holidays eligible to work: any while on contract RTO must be approved

Holiday Requirements: Yes, traveler will need to work at least 1 major or minor holiday during rotation. For example if Memorial, July 4 and Labor Day were on their 13 week contract, they would need to work one holiday. The holiday also includes the weekend, for example they would be responsible for Sat and Sun prior to Memorial Monday. They could be working or on call for that holiday and weekend.

All RTO requests must be presented at time of submission

Primarily based on the West Main campus but can be floated to east or CVI OR.

Skills: Scrub and/or circulate general surgery, robotics, kidney transplants, ortho, neuro, spine, ENT (primarily head & neck); GYN, Urology; trauma Unit Specialty: Neuro (spine and cranial), ortho (trauma and spine), solid abdominal organ transplant (kidney, pancreas, liver), complex ENT, acute trauma (motor vehicle accident, high impact trauma), Da Vinci XI robotics (thoracic, gen surg)

Neuro, Trauma, Transplant Experience Required

Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a teaching hospital and specialty area expertise OR West consists of 10 operating rooms and focuses on Inpatient Level I Trauma Surgery.

Travelers who have worked for Beth Israel Lahey Health as TRAVEL, perm or per diem within the last year will not be accepted - MUST be separated from facility for one year to be considered.
