Maintenance Technician - Full-time

Our client, Automotive Company is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting Industrial Machine Work Environment.  The ideal candidate will have flexibility to address a wide variety of job duties, experience in mechanical, electrical and hydraulics and attention to details which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Location: Clinton 

Pay Range: $25-$28

Schedule: 7:30 pm – 7:50 am - 12 hours shift.

What’s the Job?

• Install, repair, rebuild, and otherwise maintain a multitude of equipment relative to the total manufacturing process. Requires a broad knowledge of industrial technology to effectively diagnose machine malfunctions and operating difficulties.
• Rebuild machine and overhaul components and attachments to involve dismantling, inspection, repair or replacement of parts.
• Perform skilled operations such as fitting and aligning of bearings, spindles and shafts; align and calibrate measuring devices and moving parts, adjusting and feeding mechanisms.
• Coordinates the repairs of equipment, directing and instructing reliability coordinators who assist in the repair.
• Performs a variety of electrical tasks, up and including PLC hardware and software. Performs electrical troubleshooting and repairs.

What’s Needed?

• Two year technical degree in electrical/mechanical repair or at least five years related maintenance experience.
• High School Diploma.
• Operate heavy motorized equipment.
• Exposed to noise, heat, cold, heights, and other demanding elements.
• Must pass drug screening and background check.
