Medication Aide for new Senior Living in Spearfish

Peaceful Pines Spearfish is a brand-new senior living community opening this spring to provide independent living, assisted living, and memory care services for area seniors.

We are seeking an experienced caregiver to join our hardworking team of professionals as a Medication Aide.

The role: The UMA's primary role is to ensure the well-being and protection of every resident through the delivery of high-quality care. The UMA is responsible for aiding residents with daily living activities that may include but are not limited to bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing/undressing, walking, transporting, and other cares. The Medication Aide who administers prescribed medications to residents, as delegated by the community's Registered Nurse.

We have full-time and part-time opportunities for this non-exempt role, which requires 24-40 hours per week. The RCA will report to the Director of Nursing.

Qualifications: Candidates must be dependable, have a contagiously positive attitude, and a passion for working with seniors and/or caring for others. Must have the ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and employees. Ideal candidates will have experience working in senior living.
