About being our Senior Survey Project Manager

As our Senior Survey Project Manager, you will support the Land Survey team's operation at a Senior Management level. You will manage resources for the office and field, have the opportunity to provide staff leadership, mentorship & guidance, manage a diverse portfolio of exciting projects throughout California, maintain QA/QC checks and balances of mapping quality, track budgets & schedules, and see projects to successful completion.

Responsibility Highlights for our Senior Survey Project Manager

  • Prepare scopes of work with associated fees and schedules, negotiate contracts including additional services, prepare presentations, proposals, respond to RFP's and RFQ's, and assist with recruiting, retention, and leading of interviews
  • Lead multi-office pursuits and serve as Contract Manager for significant projects and programs
  • Use your knowledge of land surveying/mapping to support the technical work of other surveyors, CAD drafters, and sub-consultants
  • Oversee a variety of projects including: Transportation Design, Right of Way Engineering and Mapping, design surveys, construction, ALTA Surveys, Topographic Mapping, Boundary Resolution, Records of Survey, Legal Description preparation and GPS Control Surveys.
  • Foster a collaborative and motivating work environment, promoting teamwork and professional growth among team members, promoting knowledge sharing and best practices
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, leveraging existing client relationships and developing new ones
  • Ability to participate in industry events, conferences, and networking activities to enhance the company's visibility and attract potential clients

Minimum Qualifications to be our Senior Survey Project Manager

  • Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) or Professional Engineering (PE) License
  • 10+ years of progressively responsible Land Survey experience
  • 5+ years' experience in Project Management
  • Proficient in industry standard software and management tools
  • Familiarity with state and county mapping requirements
  • Possess the desire and ability to develop and maintain industry client relationships in the Southern California market
