● Present a skateboarding/BMX program through cheerful, helpful, and efficient service

● Demonstrate skillful wheel sports abilities and teach customers how to achieve these skills

● Assist in the set up and takedown of BMX/skate facilities

● Ensure the safety of all participants in skateboard/BMX activities

● Turn accurate paperwork in to supervisor in a timely manner

● Keep program areas inspected, safe, clean, neat, and organized

● Assist other wheel programs as needed

● Maintenance of Skate/BMX equipment and facilities

● Other duties or projects as assigned by SBR leadership

● Abide by policies and procedure outlined in the SBR staff handbook

● 18 years of age or older

● Preferred: Experience teaching skateboarding or BMX

● Required: Experience riding a BMX bike or skateboard

● Preferred: Experience maintaining skateboards or bikes

● Preferred: Experience maintaining skateparks or BMX tracks

● Ability to use Microsoft Teams daily for work related communication and coordination

● Be or become a registered member of the Boy Scouts of America

● Completes contract period with 2-4 positive experiences

● Receive one or more Staff Appreciation Cards from staff or participants

● Provide at least one memorable moment that matters to a participant

● Contribute at least one improvement to the Skate/BMX program

● Up to 8 hours a day of either standing, walking, hiking, and the ability to lift 50 lbs.
