Guest Service Specialist

Big Sky Vacation Rentals is currently seeking part-time staff members to be a part of our Guest Service Team.

Looking for professional team players that are working to build their career in the tourism industry. Experience helpful, but a strong work ethic and positive self-motivation required. Job Duties Include, but are not limited to:

• Dispatching and scheduling work orders for the operations team.
• Answering incoming calls and assist with any questions and requests.
• Remote troubleshooting of the various mechanical systems within the home; i.e. fireplace functionality, Satellite TV, WIFI challenges.
• Professional level written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize your own work as well as for your fellow teammates.
• Assist guests with issues and complaints, with empathy and focus on guest satisfaction.

Experience:

Previous guest service and reservations experience preferred.

Excellent written and oral communication skills required.

Positive interpersonal skills required.

Excellent computer and typing skills are required.

Previous call-center experience helpful.

Excellent listening and comprehension skills required.

Qualifications and Requirements:

High School diploma or equivalent, plus one year front desk/guest service experience.

• Handling objects, products and computer equipment
• Use a keyboard to operate various property management and reservations systems, etc.
• Communication skills are utilized a significant amount of time when interacting with guests and employees.
• Reading and writing abilities are utilized often.
• Basic math skills are used frequently
• Problem solving, reasoning, motivating and training abilities are often used.
• Schedule will include weekends. Holidays may be required.
