Operations Clerk

Role:

To support the financial management and operations of the credit union through maintenance of accounting records, electronic transactions, and reports. Performs a variety of duties and responsibilities relating to all phases of the operational process.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
  • Process all exceptions and returns for electronic funds transfers, ACH and share drafts, in a timely and concise manner.
  • Perform back-up duties for all other operational functions.
  • Participate in annual ACH audit by preparing requested information and working as primary point of contact for audit.
  • Perform end-of-month functions and reports as needed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Performance Measurements:
  • To complete daily returns by indicated deadlines and with zero errors.
  • To thoroughly review and investigate transaction requests for fraud.
  • To complete all assigned tasks.
  • To provide helpful, informative assistance to other employees.
  • To maintain a professional work environment and businesslike appearance
  • To adhere to all Trona Valley policies and procedures and all relevant federal regulations including BSA
Knowledge and Skills:
  • Experience: Must have a background in Financial Services
  • Skills: Must be reliable, detail oriented, very organized, efficient and able to make confident decisions
  • Education: A high school education or GED.
