Salary:

Farmers EC is currently seeking a Construction Engineering Coordinator to join us at the fastest growing cooperative in Texas. As a member of the Engineering department, you are responsible for the coordination of field engineering and construction activities acting as a liaison between Farmers EC, members, and contractors. 

 

The Construction Engineering Coordinator oversees the scheduling of proposed construction among contractors, monitors progress of pending construction, prepares and processes work order invoices, and provides pre-construction requirement information to member. Experience with reading pick tickets, executing easements, electric utility design and equipment, service orders, construction invoicing and permits is preferred.  

 

Successful candidates must possess excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with our members, and be detail oriented with the ability to handle multiple assignments. Ability to navigate various software programs including Microsoft Suite is required. Experience within the electric industry is strongly desired.

 

This position earns a competitive salary based on experience. We also offer paid training, health insurance, generous paid time off (PTO), paid holidays, a retirement pension plan, and a 401(k) plan.

 

This job can be primarily a remote home-based position with some work assignments, trainings, and meetings at our Greenville, Texas office. The assigned hours will be Monday – Friday 8 am – 5 pm with occasional overtime during peak seasons. Applicants should reside within the state of Texas. Because you will be working with confidential data, all work must be done from a home office which offers adequate privacy.
