Deposit Operations Associate

We are seeking a full-time Deposit Operations Associates to join our team and work on-site at our Muncy Community Office.
The Deposit Operations Associate Responsible for performing a variety of duties to support the deposit operations function; coordinating work within the department, as well as with other departments; reporting pertinent information to the immediate supervisor; responding to inquiries or requests for information.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Reviews out of balance transactions or transactions with missing items; corrects transactions or sends to appropriate department or branch to be corrected.
- Reviews cleared official checks; checks for proper endorsement and ensures amount is within signer's limit.
- Reconciles internal accounts daily, weekly, and monthly.
- Verifies wires to ensure proper documentation and correct posting.
- Submits check adjustments to the Federal Reserve for checks that did not post properly.
- Images various documents in accordance with established procedures.
- Performs Estate Asset verifications; researches and compiles information into letter form to provide balances and accrued interest customers had acquired at time of death.
- Indexes stop payments from all branches; documents that all stop payments have been filed.
- Cooperates with, participates in, and supports the adherence to all internal policies, procedures, and practices in support of risk management and overall safety and soundness and the Bank's compliance with all regulatory requirements, e.g. Community Reinvestment Act (CRA), Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Equal Credit Opportunity Act, etc.
Requirements: The selected candidate must have the following skills:
- A minimum of high school diploma or equivalent required with a preference for an advanced degree in a business or financial related field of study.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience of related experience preferred.
- Proficient reading, verbal, and written communication skills, analytical, organization, and planning skills, and math skills.
- Proficient knowledge of computer skills including online, internet, and mobile banking.
- Ability to effectively perform multiple tasks, duties, and jobs throughout the office.
- Excellent interpersonal relation skills with the ability to demonstrate active listening, attention to detail, and positive professional attitude.
Hours: Monday-Friday, 37.5 hours per week
