We are looking to hire AP Instructors/Tutors who will be responsible for conducting 1:1 or group tutoring sessions with our students who are preparing for the AP Exams. Our instructor must be able to teach students test-taking strategies and time management skills to maximize students performances on the AP Exam. This is an exciting opportunity for passionate and experienced educators to make a positive impact on students' learning goals. This is a Flexible, Part-Time opportunity.

QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Bachelors degree in related field in tutoring (required)
  • Master's degree in related field in tutoring from an accredited college or university (preferred)
  • 1 year experience teaching AP courses as a tutor/teacher (required)
  • Successful track record of developing students knowledge in AP Test Prep (required)
  • Professional communication skills (both spoken and written)
  • Competent in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Able to work independently and collaborate with a team
  • Enthusiastic about working with students and parents
  • Able to maintain strict confidentiality
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented (attention to detail and accuracy is imperative)
  • Ability to meet schedules and deadlines

JOB DUTIES:


  • Collaborate with the Director of Curriculum Development to develop lesson plans and curricula as needed
  • Deliver interactive and engaging AP lessons
  • Provide guidance and instruction on the content and format of the AP.
  • Administer practice tests and analyze results to identify areas of improvement
  • Assess students' progress through regular evaluations, including tests, assignments, and participation, and provide constructive feedback to support their educational development.
  • Provide homework help as needed
  • Able to lead a classroom of students effectively and work efficiently with students
  • Good classroom management skills
Typical hours:

  • Must be flexible Monday - Friday from 2pm-8pm, Saturdays from 10am-4pm
