Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Spanish or related field
  • Teaching certification (preferred but not required)
  • Proficiency in Spanish language

Job Description:

The schools are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Part-Time Elementary School Leave Replacement Spanish Teacher to join our team. This position will be responsible for providing engaging and effective Spanish instruction to elementary school students at St. Margaret in Pearl River and St. Gregory in Garnerville, Rockland County.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver dynamic Spanish lessons tailored to elementary school students.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters language acquisition and cultural understanding.
  • Assess student progress and provide timely feedback.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support students' educational journey.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Spanish or related field.
  • Teaching certification is preferred but not required.
  • Strong proficiency in the Spanish language.
  • Prior experience working with elementary school-aged children is a plus.


This position offers an immediate start date, providing an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on young learners.
