Summary
Our client, located in Charleston, SC, is the top specialty women's clothing brand in the country. We are searching for a candidate who can assist the owner with the daily tasks. The ideal candidate is organized, can communicate extremely well, and knows how to get things done.
Duties
- Helping keep Personal Shopper organized
- Ability to handle several projects simultaneously, knowing what is and isn't priority
- Keeping a notebook full of daily responsibilities
- Keep track of marketing appointments and appointments via calendar
- Must ensure that each task is fully completed and relay confirmation to personal shopper
- Being an extension of Personal Shopper
- Comfortable working with clients
- Responding in a way in which the personal shopper would (tone and wording), because you will be trusted with a personal shoppers phone daily.
- Keep mental notes on personal shopper's strategy when pulling for clients (favorite pieces, specific brands depending on client, styling preferences, etc)
- Become a role model for team
- Ability to travel to pop-ups/photoshoots (work related events)
- Having the ability to travel/work on weekends, sometimes coming early and staying late.
- Checking out clients
- Ability to wrap (to Hampden standards), checkout, and use Springboard (pos system)
- Being knowledgeable of brands/store/placement of specific items
- Place items in the store in their correct position
- Maintain clean dressing rooms
- Grabbing clothes and shoes quickly when needed, sense of urgency
- Pulling sales reports
- Efficient with Google Sheets, Excel, Dropbox, Springboard, and ValorPay
- Being confident when helping clients one on one
- Being an extension of the personal shopper
- Confident in what you're talking about
- Knowledgeable on styling different types and ages
- Knowing how personal shopper would respond
- Pulling items prior to VIP clients coming in (preparing for VIP appointments by pulling correct sizes and styles suited for the client)
- Holding personal shopper accountable for tasks needed
- Keeping personal shopper level-headed
- Checking in to see what else you can do
- Know the calendar for upcoming appointments
- Monitoring to-do list
- Read over texts between clients to ensure all details are recorded in the to-do list
- Try-ons
- Ability to efficiently pull your size in new items and try on to be photographed as a reference tool for personal shopper and team.
- Fit and style knowledge
- Give valuable feedback on the fit, feel, and any other notes that can give insight for the client
- Fashion sensibility
- Brand knowledge
- Strong interest in fashion
- Respectable styling acumen
- Comfortable styling different ages and body types
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Needs to be a forward thinker- Ask what can be done or be proactive and do not wait to be told (Listen & learn so you begin to already know what would be most helpful)
- Clienteling (communicating via email or text) in personal shopper's voice
- Communicating important client notes to personal shopper (upcoming trips, birthdays, etc)
- Transparency on requested days off in advance (must be approved by personal shopper first, then by store director)
- Proficiencies to be acquired:
- Springboard knowledge (returns, pulling client reports, daily sales, client history)
- UPS/FedEx knowledge (create shipment, rates & transit times, ship history, customer service phone calls)
- Dropbox knowledge (where to find important docs)
