The Electrician and Wiring Crew Leader, a seasoned Journeyman Electrician, is tasked with leading on-site operations for Electrical and Wiring Construction Jobs, with a significant focus on residential projects. This role demands excellence in installing electrical systems and equipment for both Rough-ins and final installations. The Crew Leader is responsible for supervising a team of 1 to 2 apprentices, ensuring projects are not only completed on time and within budget but also exceed standards of quality and compliance. The ideal candidate will be a role model in professionalism, skill, and leadership, with potential future leadership roles within the company.

Responsibilities:

• Installation Leadership: Direct and perform the installation of electrical systems and equipment, guaranteeing quality and compliance with all building and safety codes.
• Blueprint Mastery: Accurately read and interpret drawings and schematics to guide and verify the work of the team.
• Problem Solving: Troubleshoot electrical issues with adept problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Safety and Compliance: Uphold and enforce strict adherence to safety and building codes, setting a standard for the team.
• Supervision and Training: Mentor and train apprentices, fostering a learning environment that encourages professional growth and skill development.
• Record Keeping: Maintain detailed records of all work performed, including a comprehensive tracking of materials ordered, used, and remaining.
• Material Management: Exhibit meticulous management of materials — from ordering and protecting to controlling and tracking usage — ensuring projects are completed efficiently and cost-effectively.
• Leadership and Team Management: Utilize an understanding of team dynamics to maintain high work efficiency and morale, setting a high standard for dress, punctuality, professionalism, and skill.

Special Consideration for Residential Projects -- Given our portfolio's substantial emphasis on residential work, candidates must excel in environments that demand:

• Quick and efficient mobilization and execution of projects, often within tight schedules.
• Strict adherence to the nuanced rules and regulations specific to residential installations.
• Superior organizational skills to manage the rapid pace and turnover of residential projects effectively.

Qualifications:

• Valid Journeyman electrician license is REQUIRED. Held for at least 2 years is expected.
• 5+ years of total electrician experience, with a preference for those who have led teams.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Demonstrated organizational prowess, especially in fast-paced, rule-intensive settings like residential installations
