We are looking for a motivated Personal Trainer to join our team! You will be responsible for motivating, programming, educating, and inspiring members to perform a variety of exercises at various fitness levels. Your #1 goal as a Personal Trainer is to provide accountability for our clients, no exercise/exercise program is successful without it. We expect our trainers provide an inclusive environment, keeping in mind the safety of our members. Personal Trainers are expected to be a role model and resource for all members and staff.

Job Summary
  • Service appointments with members, which may include body fat analysis, nutritional counseling, etc
  • Consult with members to determine and define needs and health problem areas
  • Develop an individual exercise program consistent with the members personal fitness and exercise goals
Responsibilities
  • Conduct studies or surveys on members needs or health problems to formulate appropriate solutions to achieve desired fitness goals with safe and effective programming
  • Advise members on methods of solving needs or problems and recommends specific solutions
  • Determine members current physical status based on personal health and physical history
  • Educate and assist members on proper use of exercise equipment, physical fitness and realistic physical expectations
  • Continually monitor facility, including locker rooms for cleanliness and tidiness
  • Must perform a zone clean twice a day (refer to check off list provided by the GM)
  • Must be able to participate in all of our special events (requirements based on job description)
  • Responsible for clocking in at the beginning of your shift, clocking out at the end of your shift and any breaks in-between
  • Responsible for maintaining proper certifications and CPR certifications
  • Required to produce floor leads to PT leads
Qualifications
  • Must hold a current certification from the NASM, ACSM, NSCA or ACE.
  • Must have current CPR, CPT, CEUs, and AED certification.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Experience in designing and implementing fitness programming
  • Passion for health & fitness
