Bard Manufacturing Company, a leading manufacturer of commercial Heating and Air Conditioning systems has an immediate opening for a Fabrication Cycle Counter in our Madison, Ga. facility. This is a 2nd SHIFT - 10 hour, 4 day week schedule Monday-Thursday 4:30 PM - 3:00 AM Candidate must be able to work overtime when needed, which may include Fridays and Saturdays.

With production facilities in Ohio, Georgia and Mexico, we service our customers both nationwide and internationally by designing and manufacturing cutting-edge engineered products.

Summary:

Operatespower fabrication machines to cut, bend or punch copper tubing parts. Moves material to and from work areas.

Duties andResponsibilities:

Cuts, bends and punches copper parts in accordancewith production guidelines.

Performs spot checks of products to ensure adherenceto approved quality standards.

Notifies supervisor of product discrepancies orequipment malfunctions.

Adheres to established company policies andprocedures paying special attention to safety regulations.

Wears personal protective equipment in accordancewith training guidelines.

Performs other related duties as assigned.



Skills/Knowledge/Qualifications

  • Ability to stand, walk, and bend for 10 hours daily.
  • Physically agile and dexterous.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Must be self-motivated.
  • Able to work independently.
  • Experience operating a forklift.
  • Proficient in Microsoft office and inventory control software.
  • Education: High school diploma or GED
