Teacher Aide

As a Classroom Coach, you will help prepare the classroom environment to support developmentally appropriate practices, assist in collaborative lesson plans, and support children's growth and development through quality learning experiences. JFCAC Head Start is a federally funded program designed to support school readiness for children ages birth through 5 years of age for children and families living in poverty.

Job Duties:

• Integrate High Scope Curriculum into daily practice
• Assists in preparing the classroom environment to support developmentally appropriate practices
• Help plan and participate in family activity events
• Support the role of families as the first and primary teachers of their children
• Attend and participate in training and professional development
• Maintain a clean and sanitary environment

Qualifications:

• A minimum of a High School Diploma or GED required.
• Work and/or field experience in early childhood.
• Must have a reliable vehicle.
