Conference Services Events Manager

Beaver Run Resort and Conference Center is located in Breckenridge, Colorado - the heart of the Colorado Rocky Mountains. Nestled between the mountain and Main Street, at Beaver Run you're just a few steps away from the ski slopes in the winter and the hiking trails in the summer. With 40,000 square feet of conference and meeting spaces, Beaver Run is the largest conference center in Breckenridge with the most scenic views and most professional team, services and amenities.

What You'll Do:

The Conference Services Events Manager will organize group functions and liaise between various departments such as Food & Beverage/Kitchen, Banquets, Sales, etc. as well as guests/event coordinators to ensure an exceptional quality product. This position will assist with the planning, setup and day-of execution of events. While the Events Manager does not have any direct reports, they will be expected to oversee and provide leadership to operations staff during events - previous team leadership and supervisory experience is a major plus. The ideal candidate will be a professional with excellent communications skills, an exacting eye for detail, and creative flair. Full-time, year-round position with benefits eligibility as described below. Position is located on-premises in Breckenridge, CO.

Position starts at $55,000/yr. + DOE + Commissions + Discretionary Annual Bonus

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Assist with event planning and execution to meet client needs
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth delivery of service.
• Act as primary point-of-contact during events.
• Communicate with other departments regarding client requests, impacts, etc.

What You'll Bring:

• 3+ years conference services and/or catering service experience - preferred
• 1+ years supervisory experience - preferred
• Experience with Delphi, SMS and Microsoft Office suite - preferred.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English - required.
