Job Summary for Shed Warranty/Service Repair Tech

Ulrich Lifestyle Structures is looking for a Shed Warranty/Service Repair Tech. The Shed Warranty/Service Repair Tech is responsible for repair requests and warranty work on our custom-made sheds, garages, barns, and playhouses produced by the company. Warranty repair duties include: painting, leveling, replacing shingles and trim, installing windows or shelving, adjusting doors, and other duties associated with the repair and/or construction of the Lifestyle Structure.

Job Duties for Shed Warranty/Service Repair Tech

• Respond to work orders for repairs to sheds or garages
• Make necessary repairs to sheds, or garages, including carpentry work, roofing, painting, etc.
• Minor electrical repair work may be required
• Assist the supervisor with scheduling subcontractors
• Develop and maintain good rapport with contractors and ensure quality work
• Respond to customers, assuring that their requests and concerns are addressed in a timely and professional manner by delivering 5-star customer service
• Must recognize and enforce quality standards

Qualifications for Shed Warranty/Service Repair Tech

• General home construction knowledge
• Have experience with basic power tools
• Must be able to stoop, bend, climb, kneel, crouch, crawl as needed.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally and 10-20 lbs. as needed.
• Learn Ulrich Lifestyle Structures construction methods, support company policies and construction standards, suggest improvements and execute policies to ensure compliance with quality standards
• Excellent attention to detail
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to take initiative and be accountable
• Must be able to work alone and without supervision
• Must be able to work hand and power tools
• Must have a good driving record and a valid VA driver's license

Experience/Education for Shed Warranty/Service Repair Tech

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• 3 years of general labor/construction experience
