Location Manager

Crown Recruiting seeks a Location Manager to join the team of an outstanding ag cooperative in the Fairfield, IA area! The Location Manager is key in providing management, supervision, & leadership of the operations assigned to the location, including personnel, scheduling, logistics, product handling, application services, & customer satisfaction. Requirements

Responsibilities:

• Manage a full-service Agronomy operation & sales, including dry & liquid fertilizer, seed, crop protection products, & custom application.
• Maintain a clean & organized facility, overseeing facility compliance with OSHA & company safety program.
• Control location inventories & maintain location hours to meet seasonal demands with minimum delays.
• Manage & approve all sales deals to assure they meet profitability goals & company guidelines.
• Establish & maintain relationships with key industry & strategic community partners.
• Recruit, hire, & train all full-time location personnel.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Ag Business or related preferred.
• 5+ years of agronomy sales experience with the understanding of seed & crop production practices preferred.
• Ability to communicate in an appropriate, professional manner at all levels.
• Proficiency in supervisory skills, with grasp of fundamental supervision principles.
• Must have valid driver’s license & maintain a clean driving record.
• Microsoft Office suite programs, including Word & Excel.
